Refund policy

Effective: October 2025 — PlantMart.pk ("we", "us", "our").

At PlantMart.pk we carefully grow, select, and pack every plant and gardening product. Because we sell live plants and perishable items, we offer Replacement claims valid for 10 days from the order delivered date.

• If the customer receives a damaged replacement plant, they are eligible for a refund upon image verification of the replacement.
• If a replacement plant arrives damaged, kindly provide a photo of it to claim a refund.

 This protects plant health, maintains fairness, and keeps our prices sustainable for all customers.

1. When we can help — Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, dead, or is the wrong item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. To process the claim we require clear photos or a short video showing the problem and the package condition.

• Contact: support@plantmart.pk or WhatsApp 0304-4247000 within 24 hours.
• Provide your exact order number, photos/videos, and a short description.
• Once validated, we will offer either: (A) replacement shipment at no extra charge, (B) exchange for an available item, or (C) store credit for future purchases.

If you do not report damage within 24 hours, we cannot accept responsibility because live plant condition can change rapidly after delivery.

2. No Refunds — Our Standard Rule

PlantMart.pk operates a strict No Refunds policy for the following reasons:

• Live plants are perishable and their condition can change quickly once they leave our care.
• Allowing refunds harms small-scale growers and affects inventory fairness.

Instead of monetary refunds, eligible claims will receive a replacement, exchange, or store credit. Store credit does not expire for 12 months from issue (unless otherwise stated) and can be used on any regular-priced item on PlantMart.pk.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for replacement or credit unless they are received damaged or incorrect:

• Plants reported after the 24-hour window
• Potted plants with soil disturbed after delivery
• Perishable consumables (opened fertilizers, plant foods)
• Customized or made-to-order planters (unless incorrect on delivery)

4. How we process claims

1. Send email/WhatsApp within 24 hours with order number, photos/videos, and a description.
2. Our support team reviews the claim (usually within 24–48 working hours).
3. After verification, we will dispatch a replacement or issue store credit. If replacement stock is unavailable, you will be given options including exchange or store credit.

Note: Our team may request that the package (or parts of it) be returned or that additional photos be provided to investigate the issue and improve packaging.

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch. Once packed or shipped, orders cannot be cancelled due to the perishable nature of live plants. To request a cancellation, email support@plantmart.pk immediately; if the order has not been prepared we will cancel and issue store credit.

6. Shipping & Delivery Disclaimer

We take care to pack plants for transit, but minor soil displacement or a few dropped leaves can sometimes occur — this is normal and does not qualify as damage. Complete plant failure on arrival should be reported within 24 hours for evaluation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

A: No. We do not provide monetary refunds for change-of-mind. You can return eligible items only under the damaged/incorrect rules within 24 hours and then receive a replacement, exchange, or store credit.

Q: How long does store credit last?

A: Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless otherwise notified.

Q: What if my replacement item is unavailable?

A: If the same product is unavailable, we will offer an equivalent exchange or store credit at the same value.
